What is WORICA?
WORICA is an Erasmus+ cooperation project in adult education. It focuses on women aged 30–64, especially women with migrant backgrounds and women who had fewer learning opportunities. We use creative collage art to help women learn, share experiences, and build skills in a friendly and safe environment.
Key results
WORICA creates free tools for women, educators, and organisations.
EU Gender Equality Handbook – simple information about rights, support services, and what to do if discrimination happens.
Learning Programme – collage art + digital skills + soft skills for life and work.
Women Empowerment Shows – local exhibitions where women show their art and voices.
Policy recommendation – ideas for local decision makers on how creative learning supports inclusion.
Stories from women
In WORICA, women are not only learners. Women help shape the activities and share what gender equality means in real life: at work, at home, and in society.
“I learned that my voice is important.”
“I feel stronger when I understand my rights.”
“Creating art helped me speak about difficult experiences.”
Where we work
WORICA activities happen in 6 countries: Sweden, Italy, Spain, Austria, Greece, and France.
